Irish mobile games developer KamaGames took an enormous leap forward in making mobile gaming social yesterday as it announced a tie-up with instant messenger app Viber yesterday.
A specially designed version of KamaGames’ enormously popular 3D Blackjack game, now called Viber Blackjack and available for free in both iOS and Android versions, has been launched which allows players to enjoy live blackjack and chat with their Viber contacts.
The integration of the two services should thrill 3D Blackjack fans. Players can connect to Viber directly from the game, use their existing Viber username and photo, import their Viber contacts into their 3D Blackjack friends list, and send messages directly from the Blackjack table.
Speaking from Dublin, Managing Director of KamaGames Andrey Kuznetzov was delighted to be working with the A-list instant messenger app. He said, “Viber’s reach and engaged communities in key markets of interest to KamaGames has made this partnership a natural choice. This is another step in allowing more players to engage with our games and to further boost the KamaGames global footprint as we continue our worldwide expansion.”
Viber are equally enthusiastic about allowing access to the blue-chip gaming offering through their platform. “We are constantly looking for new and unique ways to keep our users engaged,” explained Shai Magzimof, Head of Games at Viber. “The addition of KamaGames’ 3D Blackjack boosts our offering of premium social casino games and we are looking forward to a long and successful partnership with the release of more of KamaGames’ titles in the future across the Viber network”.
